I spent a dozen years as an academic librarian focusing on teaching critical information literacy, working against structural oppression within libraries, and growing as a collaborative leader.

In 2022, I decided to begin working toward a career change that would allow me to focus entirely on supporting library workers reach their professional goals.

I completed training to become a professional coach, and earned my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential from the International Coaching Federation.

As a librarian, I felt like I was always juggling about a dozen hats at once.

As a coach, though, I’ve found that I most love working with leaders who care deeply about building a healthier team culture.

I’ve worked with clients who were:

⭐️ In a new role, realizing they had just stepped into a whole mess of legacy toxicity

⭐️ A couple of years into navigating an internal promotion, reporting to the person who held their role before them while trying to detangle the departmental dysfunction that other leader had fostered

⭐️ In a middle management role between a problematic admin and a resentful team

⭐️ Academic deans of libraries, or of the larger unit that includes the library

⭐️ Public library managers

⭐️ Building their leadership skills in hopes of moving into a management role

I’d love to talk with you about how I can support you in developing toward your goals.

My standard poodle, Mocha, occasionally likes to join my meetings.
